Empowering Lives with Compassionate,

Gender-Affirming Care

Providing holistic healthcare and support for the LGBTQIA2S community.

The Alexis Project is dedicated to integrating mental and physical health care for transgender, non-binary, and gender diverse patients.

Established in 2016 with the support of the Alexis Arquette Family Foundation, the Alexis Project reflects Alexis Arquette’s fierce advocacy for the LGBTQ+ community. Since then, we have become a cornerstone of care for gender-diverse individuals across LA County. From our roots in Dr. Astrid Heger’s vision at LA General Hospital to our current role as LA County's first gender health program, our journey is marked by commitment and progress.
